You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Users purchase Precoins (platform service credits) and use them to sponsor plants at Preplanter's partner farms. When a sponsored plant reaches maturity, users receive a crop yield allocation credited back as Precoins. This is an agricultural service arrangement — you are purchasing a service that involves planting and harvesting crops on your behalf, not purchasing physical ownership of land, livestock, or growing plants.
Preplanter installs IoT-tracked smart farms on residential terraces, balconies, and backyards in Pune and PCMC. Services include design, plant selection, grow bed setup, drip irrigation, IoT sensor installation, and harvest management.
The web-based platform allows users to track sponsored plants, view harvest credits, manage their Precoin wallet, monitor XP and level progression, participate in the referral programme, and access platform features.
Precoins are non-monetary digital service credits issued by Preplanter for use exclusively within the Preplanter Platform. Precoins are not currency, cryptocurrency, tokens, securities, or financial instruments of any kind. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn as money, cannot be sold, and cannot be transferred between user accounts.
All Precoin purchases are final and non-refundable once the transaction is confirmed, except as required by applicable law. If a payment fails after being charged, we will investigate and, if confirmed, credit the Precoins or issue a refund within 7 business days.
The Rupee price per Precoin is set by Preplanter and may change with notice. Changes in pricing do not affect Precoins already purchased. Preplanter reserves the right to adjust a user's Precoin balance if fraudulent activity, technical errors, or platform abuse is detected, after due investigation.
Precoins do not expire while your account is active. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, unused Precoins are forfeited. Precoins must be redeemed before voluntary account closure — unused Precoins are not refundable upon voluntary account deletion.
When you sponsor a plant, you are purchasing an agricultural service credit. You do not acquire ownership of any physical plant, land, farm equipment, or crop inventory. You acquire the right to receive a percentage allocation of the yield produced by the corresponding plant at a partner farm, subject to actual harvest outcomes.
Preplanter does not guarantee specific harvest quantities, Precoin credit values, or timelines. All yield estimates and maturity timelines are indicative averages based on typical growing conditions. Actual results may vary materially.

In the event of a materially reduced harvest due to such risks, Preplanter will make reasonable efforts to credit users proportionally. Where a crop is completely lost due to events beyond our reasonable control, Preplanter may issue a partial service credit at its discretion but is not obligated to refund the original Precoin cost.
Home garden packages require a free site assessment visit before installation. You must provide accurate access details and ensure our team can safely access the installation area. You are responsible for obtaining any required permissions from your housing society, building management, or landlord before booking.
Installation timelines are estimates. Preplanter is not liable for delays caused by site conditions, material availability, weather, or events outside our control. Once installation is complete, we provide a follow-up maintenance visit within the timeframe stated in your package.
Cancellations requested at least 48 hours before a scheduled site visit receive a full credit reinstatement. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a 20% service charge.
INR payments are processed by Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. By completing a payment, you agree to the respective payment processor's terms. Preplanter is not responsible for payment failures, bank or card issuer declines, network timeouts, or processor errors.
If you believe you were charged but did not receive Precoins, contact [email protected] within 48 hours with your payment reference ID.
You may create only one Preplanter account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and must provide accurate information. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised account access. Preplanter is not liable for loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account before we were notified.
Approved agents receive a unique referral code and earn commission on Precoin purchases made by referred customers. Commission rates are tier-based and calculated at the time each referral is made.
You must not engage in spam, misleading advertising, unsolicited messaging, or false representations when promoting Preplanter. Commission is earned only on legitimate, approved referrals. Preplanter reserves the right to reject, withhold, or reverse commission on referrals obtained through fraudulent or deceptive means. Programme structure and rates may change with reasonable notice; pending approved commissions will be honoured at the rates at the time they were earned.
XP points, levels, and artifacts are virtual platform features with no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for anything of value outside the Platform. Preplanter may adjust, rebalance, or discontinue gamification features at any time.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of Precoins, and legal action where appropriate.
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, data, plant imagery, and service descriptions — is owned by Preplanter or its licensors and protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Platform content without prior written permission. The Preplanter name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Preplanter.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Preplanter disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be continuously available, error-free, or free of harmful components. Harvest yield estimates are based on aggregated data; individual results will vary.
Preplanter's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform is limited to the value of Precoins held in your account at the time the claim arises, or ₹10,000 (Indian Rupees ten thousand), whichever is greater.
In no event shall Preplanter be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption.
Preplanter may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant service changes that affect purchased services. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
You may close your account by contacting [email protected]. Precoins cannot be refunded upon voluntary account closure (see Section 3.5). We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or security risk. Upon termination for a violation, the Precoin balance is forfeited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, specifically the State of Maharashtra. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving notice.
