Preplanter is an agricultural service platform based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. We provide smart farm installation services for homes, cloud farming plant sponsorships at partner farms, and a digital platform to track and manage your farm activity.

When you register or sign in, we collect your name and email address. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier ("sub ID") from Google's OAuth service. We store the sub ID to support Google's Cross-Account Protection programme (see Section 7).
We collect records of Precoin purchases, plant sponsorships, harvest credits, XP and level progression, artifact unlocks, and home garden service orders. This includes payment reference IDs from Razorpay or NOWPayments (but not your card or bank details — those are held solely by the payment processor).
When you book a farm assessment or garden installation, we collect your name, phone number, email, and property address to schedule and carry out the site visit. This information is used solely to deliver the service.
If you join the agent programme, we collect payout information (bank/UPI details you provide) to process commission payments. Referral codes and the customers who use them are recorded to calculate your commission tier.
We collect technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and timestamps. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising.
INR payments are processed by Razorpay Financial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments. Your card details, bank credentials, or crypto wallet information are entered directly into the payment processor's interface and governed by their privacy policies. Preplanter receives only a transaction reference ID and confirmation status — we never store your full card number, CVV, bank password, or private keys.
For financial compliance and dispute resolution, we retain transaction records (amounts, dates, reference IDs, Precoin credits issued) for a minimum of seven (7) years as required under Indian financial regulations.
When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and Google account sub ID from Google's OAuth service. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, or any other Google services beyond basic account authentication. We do not share your Google account information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We store your login session in your browser's local storage using a secure JWT (JSON Web Token) that expires after 24 hours. Google Analytics (GA4) sets cookies for aggregate usage statistics — not personal profiling, not advertising tracking. You can opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
Preplanter participates in Google's Cross-Account Protection programme (RISC). If Google detects a significant security event on your Google account — such as a password change, account compromise, or session revocation — Google may send a signed security notification to Preplanter. Upon receiving this, Preplanter will automatically invalidate your current login session, requiring you to sign in again. This protects your wallet and data from unauthorised access. Your Precoin balance and platform data are not deleted — only your active session is ended.
Third-party vendors who help us operate the Platform (payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These parties process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
For cloud farming, we share limited operational data (species sponsored, planting date, quantity) with partner farms to coordinate planting and harvest. We do not share your personal contact details with partner farms.
Our installation team (including any third-party contractors) will receive your name, phone number, and property address solely to carry out the installation visit.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request. We will notify you where legally permitted.
If Preplanter is acquired or its assets are transferred to another entity, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
